How you start your day is vital! It’s just how you would prepare your mind the night before you go to work the next day. Your body is the same.

Your body functions best in an alkaline environment. By having your body PH balanced, everything
functions to it’s optimal ability. Disease cannot grow in an alkaline environment, therefor you will be
healthier and less ill. The other awesome benefits are things like better digestion, cancer
prevention, healthy weight and that is where the key comes in. You will loose weight a lot easier

Grapefruit Diet: 
This is such a basic concept which I started using after my 2nd child. The magic of Grapefruit is fantastic for burning fat and weight loss. Some of the benefits of Grapefruit are that it stablises your Blood sugar by reducing insulin levels. This is great because the lower levels of insulin the more efficiently your body uses up the food for energy, rather than storing it as fat.

Grapefruit is packed with Vitamin C and it is a powerful, natural immune booster and oxidant. The weight loss benefits of this fruit works best when you eat half a Grapefruit before a meal. Preferably half before breakfast and half before lunch. I tried this for the 1st time about 6 years ago and I still incorporate Grapefruit today in my eating pattern. It honestly really works.

NOTE: If you are on any Chronic medication or antibiotics please ask your doctor before eating

Snacks on the Go:

If you are anything like me, there are often times during the day when I feel like nibbling on something. This is what I’ve done when this moment arises, especially to prevent me from nibbling on the wrong things. I keep a packet of raw Almonds in the car, it comes very handy when I am stuck in traffic or if the kiddies are hungry while driving in the car. This is a awesome snack high in protein and provides your daily dose of healthy fat. Please don’t finish the packet between 8 and 12 Almonds are efficient ladies.

The other ‘best’ snack on the go, is an apple. The benefits of an apple are endless…. Due to the apple being so high in fiber, it gives you a feeling of being full. Which is Great as this will prevent you from feeling that hollow hungry feeling. This of course will aid in controlling your weight. A few other awesome benefits are that apples help to reduce cholesterol, boost immune system and detox your liver. So this covers 2 basic, easy snacks to keep available during everyday.
